One Blood

Original..

First try.. I liked the colours I was able to obtain through the curves tool, though the glare in his skin was not something I was very impressed with.

Second Try..

Steps:

  • Levels: lightened up by bringing up the greyscale, keeping away the glare. Whitescale brought up to brighten the entire picture.
  • Curves: Lightly curved to bring outmore detail in the red colours that Tyson was wearing.
  • Colour Balance: Brought up the red and green scale to add more detail and attention to the colours of their clothes.
  • Clone Stamp: Covered up a part on Tysons shirt where my camera had a bit of pixel problems..
  • Dodge: lightened up some of the shadows in the shirt.
  • Burn: Darkened up his skin tone and worked a bit more on the highlights of his shirt.
  • Blur: surrounded him with a motion blur. It added the look of a drug trip, went along with his facial expression.
  • Once again added more of a brighter red colour with the colour contrast and the curves tool.
